ZTE Tania Price Drop – Get a Windows Phone (7.5) For Less Than £200

China’s first Windows Phone export the ZTE Tania (which boasts Microsoft mobile OS upgrade “Mango”) is set for UK release on February 13th – and with pre-orders already being taken on a number of websites and with only three days to go, tech retailer Clove has slashed the gadget’s asking price by £50, meaning a very respectable Windows Phone can be yours for less than £200!

ZTE is a bit of a wild card, only really known in the UK for supplying the handset tech behind budget network-branded mobiles such as Orange’s San Francisco range but if you’re keen to own a fancy new Windows Phone, the Tania does offer a much cheaper alternative to the likes of Nokia’s Lumia 710 which hits at around £300.

The ZTE Tania boasts a generous 4.3” display, this trumping the current Nokia flagship the Lumia 800 which features just a 3.7 incher – and Tania offers the largest screen on a Windows Phone to date at a most affordable price. Despite being regarded as a “budget” Windows mobile, a respectable 1GHz Qualcomm processor runs the show with 2GB of on-board RAM supporting those exciting social apps through Microsoft’s mobile operating software.

Tania also comes in a choice of black and white from release both now costing £199 and the shipping date given is this Monday. For more info check out www.clove.co.uk/zte-tania
