Along with announcing the new HTC One S and One X, HTC have just unveiled another Android smartphone to add to their current portfolio of devices.
The latest Android device to get announced goes by the name of the HTC One V, and is a smartphone aimed at the budget market.
So, if you happen to be after a new Android device and don’t necessarily want to spend loads of money on a new phone, or have a lengthy contract, this might be the ideal handset for you.
The new HTC One V runs the latest ICS 4.0 version of Android and also features an impressive 3.7-inch WVGA display with 480 x 800 pixels. Also, the HTC One V will be powered by a 1 GHz processor which should prove adequate enough for the vast majority of users.
Other spec’s include a 5MP camera with a BSI sensor, LED light and auto-focus. It will also be able to record HD video at 720p as well. Also included is the impressive Beats Audio technology along with HTC’s Media Link allowing you to stream HD content. When it comes to storage, the One V will be able to hold a microSD card up to 32GB and has 4GB of internal memory. If cloud storage is your thing, you’ll also be able to take advantage of signing up to a Dropbox account which will give you 25GB of storage as well.
The HTC One V is expected to be available here in the UK in April, with an expected retail price of £254 SIM free.
