The price of the BlackBerry Playbook tablet has crashed once again – this time listed at £169 through Carphone Warehouse.
That’s the new slim line asking price for the original PlayBook 16GB tablet, which will soon come up against more contest when the Apple iPad 2 price drops kick in as the “new” iPad sets the bar for slabs. The 32GB and 64GB also get a discount through Carphone Warehouse, coming in at £199 and £249 respectively. At best you get to save around £280 off the original price tag and all three models feature RIMs own BlackBerry Tablet OS, 7″ display, with LCD touchscreen, 1GHz CPU, also front and rear cameras and are designed for multimedia use.
In addition to savings on the BlackBerry Playbook, you can also you can also bulk up your contract smartphone bundle by throwing in the tablet at no additional cost. All you pay is the monthly fee and the following combos are available, also through the Carphone Warhouse:
