If you’ve been thinking about getting yourself a new laptop, you may want to check out the new models on offer from HP.
HP have released 4 new laptops under their Pavilion series. These are the DV4-5000, G4-2000, DV6-7000 and finally the DV7-6000. Three of these will feature Intel’s 3rd generation Core i7 processors (Ivy bridge).
The Pavilion DV4-5000 has been updated and now features a 14-inch screen along with the Intel Core i7-3610QM 2.30GHz processor and an Nvidia GT 630M GPU.
Moving on to the Pavilion DV6-7000, the main change on this model is that it will feature a new aluminium Midnight Black design, which will replace last year’s Dark Umber. Also included in the refreshed model is a backlit keyboard. The updated specs of this model state it will have the i7-3720QM 2.6 GHz CPU and a NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M (2 GB GDDR5 dedicated) GPU.
The DV7-7000 is identical to the DV6-7000 in terms of appearance, however the main difference between the two is the DV7-7000 has a larger 17.3-inch screen compared with the 15.6-inch one on the DV6.
Finally, HP have also announced the Pavilion g4-2000 series, which is a budget range and will feature either an AMD A6 Trinity Processors or Intel Core i3 / i5 CPUs. And depending on the exact configuration you go for, you can also choose between having either a AMD Radeon HD 7670M or AMD Radeon HD 7520G + 7670M Dual GPU.
So, if any of these take you fancy, you should be able to order your choice directly from the HP online shop starting 8th of April.
