I think it’s safe to say that cloud storage is certainly becoming a more popular option amongst users who are looking for ways to ensure that they’ll be able to access all their important data on the go, anywhere in the world.
One cloud storage company that is providing useful tools for allowing users to do just that is Box. The company has today unveiled its plan to start offering Box OneCloud, showcasing over 30 apps that are designed to work with the Box cloud storage service.
This means that if you’re currently a user of OneCloud and have an iOS device, you should soon see a new cloud button from the main application. Clicking it will reveal what applications currently installed on your device are compatible with the Box service, as well as suggesting additional apps that are fully integrated with Box you may be interested in.
In addition to this new cloud button, the company will also be offering four “premier” apps aimed at enterprise users which features tight Box integration and will constantly update with your Box account. These apps include Quickoffice, Adobe Echosign, Nuance PaperPort Notes and PDF Expert.
Also, in a bid to get more apps integrating the Box cloud storage solution, the company will soon be opening up their framework to allow app developers to build Box access into their apps.
Box OneCloud is available for iOS devices today, with an Android version of the app on its way in the near future.
