The Angry Birds franchise has blasted off into new heights, with latest adventure puzzler Angry Birds Space becoming the number one downloaded app-based game on both Apple iOS and Android mobile platforms in just a week since its launch last Thursday. Whilst enjoying 10-million downloads in the first few days, Rovio was already pushing out the sci-fi themed merchandising in support of its latest future success – with cases for our Apple hardware and a range of plush toys crashing onto online retailers for those who can’t get enough of those aggravated avians!
MobileFun has flown ahead of the flock to snag a range of licensed covers for Apple devices designed by gadget protective casing co. Gear 4 which feature the Angry Birds and their Piggy foes in new space-based guises and will stop you getting into a feathery flap when you lose grip of your gadget!
The full range of Angry Birds Space cases are available now for pre-ordering and are made from a hard-wearing plastic and simply snap together around your chosen device. Protecting them from bumps, scrapes and drops as well as leaving all the ports easily accessible. The iPhone 4/4S cases cost £16.95 and include trademark colourful characters, with a choice of Red Bird, wearing his futuristic new shades, Bomb Bird in his Jetson-esque new outfit or the green King Pig inside of a floating bubble. As for new iPad owners, the cases are designed to fit the latest tablet and will cost £29.95 with a choice of a group shot or a single Red Bird – www.mobilefun.co.uk
