Eurocom, the games development company behind the 2011 James Bond revival GoldenEye: Reloaded has signed up for another instalment to be published by Activision who today broke the news that the new game will cross six different generations of the spy saga in 007 Legends.
A unique and new storyline will weave together plots from 007’s previous movie missions and will finally tie in with the latest flick to be released in October. Activision promises 007 Legends will revive some of the classic scenes and bring the tech and toy up-to-date with “state-of-the-art spy gadgets, an arsenal of weapons, including Bond’s signature Walther PPK, and sleek vehicles” – which next to the exotic locations and beautiful Bond babes is what the series is all about.
Just like the classic GoldenEye multiplayer action will also bolster this Bond game’s appeal, with the beloved split screen returning once more for more stealthy and sniping nostalgia and the new 007 mission is set to launch on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 this autumn.
It’s been a big week for the fictional spy James Bond as Sky have also announced we will be able to enjoy all of his classic adventures once again when all 23 films are shown on the Sky Movies HD family of channels starting in early 2013.
