The Samsung Galaxy SIII was launched little over a week ago and along with the super-powerful 1.4GHz Exynos Processor and ultra-cool Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update, but one of the additional features that got us buzzing was the Wireless Charger. This innovative charger was set to compliment the SGSIII handset’s release to the public on May 30th but in a sad turn of events, and with no explanation, Samsung has pulled the official accessory until “approx. September”.
The Gadget Helpline’s friends at MobileFun contacted us to inform us of the bad news and suggested that they are working with their resources to deliver a third-party equivalent in time for the must have newest Galaxy gadget’s release.
The online retailer says: “We’ve got our products team working hard to source an unofficial wireless charging dock which will be available a lot sooner than the Official Samsung one – we do already have a Dual Desk Dock on the way, which we expect to be available before the official one but keep an eye out on the Samsung Galaxy S3 accessories pages for these product been added.”
The Gadget Helpline will keep on top of this story and deliver any updates or confirmation of the release date for the official Samsung Wireless Charger.
