Nexus 7 owners are becoming spoilt for choice when it comes to accessories for the new Jelly Bean tablet, as Asus has now officially revealed a host of new items on top of the three that leaked yesterday.
Several of the items fall into the case category, along with the Premium Cover and Travel Cover that we showed you yesterday. The first is a rotating folio case, which covers both the screen and the back of the tablet, and can be used to prop it up in either landscape or portrait mode by rotating the tablet on a swivel. The finish is leather, with a soft microfiber lining to protect your shiny gadget on the inside.
The accessory that we’re most excited about, however, is a Bluetooth keyboard case. Hidden inside a leather folio-style case is a 7-inch full QWERTY keyboard which can be paired by Bluetooth and used with the tablet in landscape mode. The case includes a kickstand on the back in order to prop it up neatly on your desk for typing a la laptop, and the QWERTY keyboard itself is splashproof and will last for an impressive 45 hours from a single charge via the micro USB socket.
Asus also revealed a basic folio case and a clear screen protector to save that beautiful 7-inch IPS display from getting scratched. The rotating case costs £27.95 ($44), the basic folio case will be £22.95 ($36), the Bluetooth keyboard case will set you back £79.95 ($125), and last but not least the screen protector will cost £14.95 ($23).
Our good friends over at MobileFun reckon that all of these accessories will be launching imminently.
