As if the Google Nexus 4 wasn’t elusive enough, UK retailer TalkTalk has now given us hope of a white version of the latest flagship Android phone.
Like some sort of gadget unicorn, the white Nexus 4 has appeared on UK communications provider TalkTalk’s website as part of an exclusive pre-order bundle deal. The company lists both a black and white version of the new blower as being available to pre-order, coming with a Nexus 7 tablet for £30 a month.
The £30 a month deal is for existing TalkTalk customers only unfortunately, with a very minimal 100 minutes, 250 texts and 200MB of data included. Splash out an extra fiver per month and you’ll get a much more reasonable 300 minutes, 300 texts and 1GB of data, which is cheaper than O2’s lowest free phone tariff for the Nexus 4, and you get a Nexus 7 thrown in!
We had already caught a glimpse of the white variant from Carphone Warehouse not so long ago, but now it seems its sibling company has confirmed its existence. Unfortunately there’s no image of the phone in white on the TalkTalk website, which could mean that they’re guessing about its near future availability.
Stock is expected to hit TalkTalk on December 13th, so in theory if you pre-order now you could well enjoy a very gadgety white Christmas.
