The highly-anticipated Grand Theft Auto V will be leaving the gaming garage in the second quarter of 2013 and after catching the recent trailer your Gadget Helpline crew think it can’t come soon enough. Rockstar will be putting players once again in the shoes of a criminal and behind the wheel of a variety of vehicles in what has been promised by developer Rockstar to be the biggest open world game ever.
In the hype for the new GTA V title for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, app creator Keshav Verma has given nostalgic gamers the chance to tune in to some of those classic radio stations, which to us are a highlight of the GTA experience, right on our Android devices.
The Grand Theft Auto Radio app is loaded with stations from a number of the games including GTA III, GTA Vice City, GTA Vice City Stories, GTA Liberty City Stories, GTA San Andreas all the way up to GTA IV, with all the cheesy DJ parts and random ads thrown in for that authentic experience!
The Grand Theft Auto Radio app interface can be handily hidden so it can continue playing in the background while you text your contacts up town, and since this software is still in its first version the developer is promising more stations will be added soon.
The app can be downloaded now for free on Android based smartphones and tablets from the Google Play Store. Finally we have the perfect soundtrack to a carjacking, but as with the games of the GTA franchise we advise keeping playtime and reality separate!
