T-Mobile named as the UK’s most complained about mobile network

T-Mobile has been named and shamed as the UK’s most complained about network, but it’s only just top of the pile.

The network scored 0.17 complaints per 1000 customers between the months of July and September, although its partner network Orange was a fraction behind with 0.16 complaints per 1000 customers. Three, which was previously named as the most complained about network, also scored 0.16 complaints per 1000.

Vodafone came in fourth place with 0.14, while astonishingly, O2 kept its reputation of being the least complained about UK network with just 0.05 complaints for every 1000 customers. Given that the network went down twice this year with serious outages, this is a very impressive figure.

In terms of broadband, T-Mobile’s partner Orange retained its title as the most complained about provider. The company recently changed its terms and conditions which made customers irate, forcing customers to pay extra to take a landline service with them in order to have free broadband. This stunt led to 0.50 complaints per 1000 customers for Orange, with TalkTalk trailing behind with 0.35 customer complaints.

From the results it seems that many more people find cause for complaint about their broadband services compared to mobile – many UK ISPs need to get their act together!
