Sony has revealed that us folk in the UK will be able to get our hands on a special Super Slim PlayStation 3 console later this year in an exclusive white edition of the console.
The white console will come as part of the God of War: Ascension bundle which includes the slimline white console as well as the God of War game.
The console will be a 500GB white version and will be available from March 15th here in the UK. Additionally, the bundle will come with God of War: Ascension in a special edition Steelbook cover plus a special Ascension controller, the soundtrack CD, Multiplayer Double XP Unlock and an exclusive PS3 dynamic theme and PS3 avatar.
This means that all three versions of the super slim PS3 will finally be on sale in the UK in one form or another. The black version is the standard console, but you can also pick up Garnet Red and Azurite Blue models (which were originally only announced for Japan), which will both be hitting the UK from February 15th.

The white version is only available in the UK with the GOW pack but our friends in the US will have a similar bundle, this time with the Garnet Red version of the PS3 and the white one on general sale.
The super slim PS3 was announced last year at the Tokyo games show and it shocked most gaming fans as a third revision of the console was not expected to land. However, thoughts are now turning away from the PlayStation 3 as the next generation PlayStation 4 is looking set to be revealed later this month at a Sony PlayStation event on February 20th.
