Those cheeky chaps over at SamMobile have reported the supposed spec of Samsung’s next budget Android phone, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3, in some GLBenchmark stats that leak the specifications of the incoming affordable handset.
The Galaxy Ace range of phones has always consisted of very popular mid-range handsets, offering great specs and low price tags. It’s looking like the Ace 3 will continue on with this quality and affordability theme, too.
What the specs show is that the Galaxy Ace 3, or GT-S7272 as it’s listed on the test, will come with a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 4-inch 800 x 480 display and will run the latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean software.
The handset will sit below the Galaxy S4 as a budget alternative for Samsung fans but we would expect that much of the Samsung’s Nature UX 2.0 will be integrated into the Android OS, so the two will appear similar in terms of sofrwaee.
The phone is also set to come with a 5MP camera with 720p video recording capabilities and as an added bonus, NFC connectivity will be added to the mix.
The specs do seem to be on par with the previous Galaxy Ace handsets and we would expect the Galaxy Ace 3 to land in the UK for just over £200 SIM free and free on most contracts. Hopefully some further information on the new phone will surface soon.
