Samsung has today sent out a load of media invitations to the world, inviting us to a press event on June 20th in which the company is looking set to reveal a range of new handsets from its Android Galaxy range and the Windows Phone 8 ATIV range.
Apart from the text on the front of the invites, which reads “Samsung Premier 2013, GALAXY & ATIV”, there really isn’t a lot of information as to what exactly the event will hold.
We have already seen Samsung’s flagship Android running smartphone in the form of the Galaxy S4, so next in line for the Galaxy range is the much-leaked Galaxy S4 Active, S4 Mini and Ace line of smartphones, all if which could be revealed.
ATIV-wise Sammy has been pretty quiet but generally the company likes to release a Windows Phone 8 version of its Android handsets so we would expect a new flagship ATIV handset with specifications similar to the popular Galaxy S4.
Other handsets also rumoured are the updated Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom which sports an updated camera and similar specs to the S4. There’s also the possibility of Samsung revealing the Galaxy Note 3, although this would be earlier than expected.
There is also a chance of some tablet action, with both new ATIV and Galaxy Tab devices being rumoured for some time.
All we know for definite is that there will be a few new products for both Android and Windows Phone fans on June the 20th, so stay tuned then.
Samsung will be airing the full reveal on June 20th with a live stream at 19:00 on via YouTube, which you can see here.
