After last week’s update debacle, Sony fans are in for some more downtime as the PlayStation Network is going to be having some further maintenance today which will see the PSN once again being inaccessible if you haven’t signed into the network recently.
From today (June 25th) the network will be going down 5.30PM (9:30AM PT / 10:30AM MT / 11:30AM CT / 12:30 PM ET) which will last until around 12:00AM (4:00PM PT / 5:00PM MT / 6:00PM CT / 7:00PM ET), during which period the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home and Account Management services will not be available.

During the downtime PSN users will be able to access online gaming, provided that they have signed in to the network at some point between now and the time of the maintenance.
So if you have been off for the weekend and want to pay the PS3 online tonight then you will need to log onto the PSN network before it all goes off at 5.30pm.
Sony pretty much has a monthly outage of some point across its PSN for such scheduled maintenance but with last week’s PS3 bricking fiasco most of us are scared for the future of our consoles with the new changes!
With Sony’s The Last of Us currently exciting and thrilling gamers across the globe, now is really not the time to have a broken network!
