With June slipping by its looking increasingly apparent that Samsung are looking set to release its new range of Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet devices next month on July the 7th. The new range of Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 devices will come in three size variations (10.1 inch, 8.0 inch and 7.0 inches) and should be arriving the first week of July in the US.
Samsung announced the two additional sized Samsung Tablets at the beginning of June to add to the previously announced Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 version, and since then we have all been waiting for an official release date for the Android jelly bean running devices.
The Tablets vary is specs slightly as well as their size with the smallest Tab 3 7.0 offering a 1024 x 600 display and a dual-core 1.2GHz Marvell processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of on-board storage plus microSD card support, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The larger tab 3 8.0 has a better screen resolution with a 1280 x 800 display, comes sporting Samsung’s dual-core 1.5GHz Exynos processor which has and 1.5GB of RAM and an inbuilt memory of 16Gb with expandable MicroSD card slot to expand on the internal memory.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 will also sport a 1280 x 800 display and with a slightly faster dual-core Intel Z2560 1.6GHz processor, 1GB of RAM (less than the 8.0) and a 6800mAh battery. The 10.
1 will also have 16GB of internal memory and an SD card slot and both the 8.0 and 10.1 will have front and back facing cameras. However the 10.1 will sport a smaller 3mp snapper on the back compared to the 8.0’s 5mp cam.
The two larger de3vices will also sport the newer Android Jelly bean 4.2 software with Samsung’s updated TouchWiz user interface.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 will cost $399, Tab 3 8.0 will cost $299 and the Tab 3 7.0 will come in at $199 and all three will be available as Wi-Fi only and in white or brown. No news on a mass release in the UK but you can pick up some of the devices from the official Samsung Stores in the UK.
