The mysterious red HTC One has finally been made official, and best of all we’re going to be able to get our hands on one here in the UK next month.
Phones 4U has confirmed that it will be exclusively stocking the vibrant red version, known officially as ‘Glamor Red’, from mid-July alongside the silver and black versions which have both been around since the launch of the One back in March.
Right back at the launch there was a red version of the One that HTC tried its best to keep a secret. It appeared a few days after the launch on HTC’s own website but was promptly taken down, before showing up in a number of other places in the past few months.
As you might expect, inside the phone there’s absolutely no change, and all that’s happened is a fresh lick of colourful red paint on the outside. That said, the red version will certainly stand out in a crowd and looks nicer than both the silver and black versions, we reckon.
If HTC’s new colour doesn’t tempt you then perhaps a version of the One running pure Android will – The HTC One ‘Google Edition’ will soon be available Stateside and hopefully around the world in the coming months.
Phones 4U will offer the Glamor Red version free on contracts from £33 per month on all major UK networks, with pre-orders starting now.
