Apple Supplier Shipping Two New iPhone Models in September

Apple supplier Hon Hai Precision (Foxconn) is set to ship two new model iPhones early next month, this according to business news source the Wall Street Journal.

As our readers will know we are eagerly expecting the arrival of not only the upgraded iPhone 5S but also a budget iPhone 5C – previously referred to as the iPhone Lite. The former is expected to come with a number of improvements over the iPhone 5. Those familiar with the ‘S’ treatment will know the score and the iPhone 5S is set to feature a new A7 processor, dual-LED camera flash and possibly the introduction of a finger print scanner. The iPhone 5S will be officially revealed at the annual Apple event on September 10th, which supports the WSJ’s shipping story today.

The latter is still surrounded by much secrecy with only a number of leaked photos of a cheaper plastic casing confirming the existence of the iPhone 5C. The most recent to surface showed off a lime coloured shell and other bright hues have also been spotted. The iPhone 5C will include the current standard Apple A6 processor and is rumoured to be announced at the same press event as its superior sibling.

With Hon Hai shipping the parts within the next few weeks we expect Apple iPhone rumours and leaks, along with some new iPad gossip, to hit their peak ahead of the September 10th event. The Gadget Helpline will of course deliver the official details as they are announced and covering any incoming news regarding the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.
