Nokia is either very bad at keeping its new Lumia smartphones a secret or it is actively using the “Oooops we leaked it” approach to marketing as no sooner have we gotten to grips with the latest Lumia 1020 smartphone have seen leaked information on Nokia’s next release.
Today Nokia has seemingly confirmed that its next handset will be a 6-inch 1080p handset called the Lumia (Bandit) 1520, which comes with an impressive 20-megapixel PureView camera.
The leaked information comes from a Chinese website where a few key specifications for the 1520 have leaked online, all before the Nokia World event in Abu Dhabi which will be starting tomorrow.
Other specifications to be unearthed are that the Lumia smartphone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor but the real aim for the handset will be its Massive 20MP cam, which will be a slightly smaller alternative to the current 41MP Lumia 1020.

Nokia is also expected to get on the tablet train at Nokia World, with the long awaited (and much leaked) Lumia 2520 tablet also expected to make its first appearance. The tablet is set to be the first tablet device from Nokia and is rumoured to come with a 10.1-inch Full HD 1080p screen, 6.7-megapixel camera, 10 hours of battery life and a decent 32GB of storage inside. And, fitting with the Lumia branding of the range, the 2520 will likely be available in a range of bright colours.
We will keep you posted on the entire event from the Nokia World event from tomorrow.
