Marvel is now offering up a massive selection of 15,000 comics spanning 75 years, from classic and modern age, for just 99¢ a pop through its Marvel Unlimited apps for iOS and Android tablets and smartphones.
The sweet deal is currently underway in celebration of Marvel’s triumphant return to the SXSW entertainment festival which runs from March 8th to the 17th. The promotion will run for a month and downloaders of the Marvel Unlimited app can enjoy the cheap digital copies before opting to continue the service for $9.99 per month thereafter (or $69 per year), and as the title suggests, access to the Marvel vaults is unlimited to subscribers.
Marvel, the giant of the comic book industry, has pioneered the digital comics market since 1996 beginning with the PC web-browser based CyberComics and now is providing handheld gadget users with a perfect opportunity to get to grips with some epic storylines on the go.
