Xbox One Confirmed for 26 New Countries- Japan Release

Xbox One is set to be released in 26 new countries this September. Microsoft has announced Xbox One will release in countries including Japan, Denmark and UAE, scroll down for the full list.

The list of confirms that Microsoft will be releasing in Japan; this is an odd move from Microsoft considering the previous consoles failing in the Japanese market and the slow uptake on the PS4 in Japan. The list also confirms that the Nordic countries won’t be seeing the Xbox One until at least the second half of 2014.

The full list of countries getting the console in September is below:

  • Argentina
  • Belgium
  • Chile
  • Colombia
  • Czech Republic
  • Denmark
  • Finland
  • Greece
  • Hungary
  • India
  • Israel
  • Japan
  • Korea
  • Netherlands
  • Norway
  • Poland
  • Portugal
  • Russia
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Singapore
  • Slovakia
  • South Africa
  • Sweden
  • Switzerland
  • Turkey
  • UAE

Titanfall’s launch has caused a new influx of Xbox One sales almost doubling their numbers last week on the UK market, but it is still trailing PS4 by a considerable amount in total sales. Things will look to heat up in the console war with these countries seeing the Xbox One and if it proves to be popular may well put Microsoft in the lead.
