Although the Sony Xperia Z2 has only just been released, it doesn’t stop Sony from thinking ahead to their next venture – The Sony Xperia Z3.

Leaks have appeared online of the supposed metal frame of the new device courtesy of the Chinese website – IT168. At this point isn’t easy to determine their authenticity or really any feature of the phone at all, other than its thinness.
The images did show the frame being covered in a PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coating making it harder wearing and giving it a shiny metal look. The coating will also protect it from abrasion, temperature changes and overall impact damage.
Although none of this is even remotely official, it has been speculated that the Sony Xperia Z3 will run a 2.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, have 3GB RAM and have a not so impressive (anymore) 1080p display.

Reports suggest it could become available to the public as soon as August, pretty soon considering the Xperia Z2 is only just hot off the press. Still, it seems to be a distinct mark-up as regards spec on the Z2, particularly where the hardware is concerned. Onwards and upwards Sony!
