The Sony Xperia T3 has just been launched less than a week before the Android smartphone is set to go on its initial sales run in India from Monday the 28th July.
The Xperia T3 rolls out looking like a top end Xperia Z model handset and it features a 5.3” display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. Notably the touchscreen of Sony’s latest model is made of a plastic rather than glass, offering a vast array of colours through TRILUMINOS technology and for a phone of this screen size is the slimmest of its kind at only 7mm thick.
Processing is handled by Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.4GHz quad core CPU and the operating software of choice for the Sony Xperia T3 is Android’s current standard KitKat (version 4.4.2). The phone comes loaded with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage with expansion available via Micro SD.
The camera included at the back offers an ample 8-megapixel and up front is a 1.1-megapixel shooter for the all-important selfies. The fixed battery offers 2500mAh power delivery and for connectivity the Xperia T3 is kitted up with HSDPA (enhanced 3G), WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0.
When the Sony Xperia T3 goes on sale next week in White, Black and Purple it will cost 27,990 INR, which equates to around £273 in British Pounds, however there is no word on an official release or price in our global region at this time.
