Apple TV is getting a revamp! It’s only a beta version for the moment but comes with a new iOS 7 style interface. It seems only fair as iOS 8 and a new OS X are on the horizon later this year.

Not following in earlier Apple TV betas footsteps of offering new Family Sharing and iCloud Photos support, the new beta delivers a polished look to the Apple TV Home screen.
The bare essentials have remained the same such as the familiar grid layout for icons; however these have now been made flatter and are in a different font to previous versions, mirroring the iOS 7 style.

The Beta can be downloaded from iOS Dev Center, but as the name suggests, you do have to be a registered developer. The full update will be airing its head around the same time as iOS 8 later this year.
