A logo for new Netflix show Daredevil has been revealed and the cast will descend on the famous New York Comic-con this weekend to talk more about the co-production with Marvel Comics which will be an exclusive to subscribers on the on-demand network.
At NYCC the cast and crew will appear answering questions about the Daredevil show which will start streaming in 2015 is the first time the blind lawyer Matt Murdock and his masked vigilante alter ego will appear on screen since the overly criticized 2003 movie starring new Batman, Ben Affleck.
The new cast features British Boardwalk Empire star Charlie Cox in the title role as Daredevil, True Blood actress Deborah Ann Woll plays Karen Page with Mighty Ducks alumni Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson and Vincent D’Onofrio as the series’ villain Wilson Fisk aka ‘Kingpin’ (which is great casting in our opinion).
The logo for the Daredevil Netflix series is a nod to the Marvel Comics series and the stars of the show will be signing for guests on Saturday 11th October at the Marvel booth at New York Comic Con (which co-incidentally is a stone’s throw from the show’s setting of Hell’s Kitchen.)
Marvel says in a press release that all fans who get hold of a ticket and take on the queue will not only be awarded with autographs but also a concept art poster by company creative chief and legendary artist Joe Quesada.
We’d think that hype is in full swing there might be some first footage or screen shots on offer for the new Daredevil series by the end of this weekend or at least a fixed released date as to when we will see the Man Without Fear in his Netflix debut.
