Acer Iconia Tab A200 Android tablet video leaks

Acer’s let its next tablet slip on YouTube, in a video ad with some of the most nerve-jangling cheesiness of all time. The Acer Iconia Tab A200 looks set to be Acer’s flagship tablet offering in the run up to Christmas, and will come packing some tasty bespoke features that aim to set it apart from the Android flock.

While not much is known about the the Acer Iconia Tab A200 in terms of conrete specs, we can see that it has display in the vicinity of 10-inches and a relatively slim profile. The operating system is likely to be Android Honeycomb, but it’ll be skinned with an Acer launcher that’ll provide a few nice touhes.

The love it or loathe it Acer Ring is one of these touches. It brings up a set of task-dependant options in a ring when the user holds down on a part of the screen. The best thing on show is Acer’s tech, though, that – when coupled with a media streamer, will offer AirPlay-style mirroring for watching content or playing games on your TV.

We’ll let you know the price and UK release date when Acer makes the Iconia Tab A200 official. Watch the video linked below to see the Iconia Tab’s best bits. Just watch out for the piano soundtrack – it’s painfully melancholy. Let us know your thoughts on our comments below or via our @Gadget_Helpline Twitter page or Official Facebook group.
