Rumours of the Amazon smartphone have been running the mill for pretty much two years, with new speculations added over time. Now the theories are set to materialise into an Android-powered Amazonian accessory, not too dissimilar to the Nexus 4.
Spec-wise, the handset features a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM and a 4.7-inch 720p display. Although it runs Android it is heavily customized to have a similar feel to their already existing Kindle Fire devices.

The video in the Tweet sent by Amazon shows people’s reaction to what seems like an eye tracking function built into the phone. With the movement of their eyes the user can flick between screens as they would do normally with their fingers and it also gives them a 3D like effect; all this because of four front facing infrared cameras.
Amazon are said to unveil the handset in June with it becoming available to buy by the end of September.
