Apple confirms iPhone 6 launch event on September 9th

Apple has finally confirmed that it will be holding a press event to launch the next generation of the apple iPhone (probably called iPhone 6) by sending out press invites to an event on September the 9th, with the tagline ”Wish we Could say more”.

It’s no real secret that this will be the launching pad for the next generation of Apple’s iOS running iPhones, but this event has intrigue in that Apple are rumoured to be also releasing an Apple iWatch and multiple sized iPhone handsets.

Months and months of leaks have somewhat confirmed what the iPhone 6 will look like, but these have only been rendered shots and shady leaked images, and when Apple announce the phone its surely going to be a dazzler.

The iPhone 6 is likely to come with a new design, as the current 5S has finished its 2 year design cycle, and will have a new Thinners size, larger screen, toughened sapphire screen, a larger 10 megapixel camera (with improved image capture features).

Where the iWatch is concerned, Apple is expected to make its first steps into the wearable tech arena with a new wireless accessory. Expect a premium build (and cost) and a sleek design from Apple’s iWatch if it’s announced.

As the invite states “We wish we could say more”, we would counter, “you don’t need to, we already know!”.

So months of speculation leads to the 9th of September. Can Apple shock us, and did they manage to keep any of their handsets secrets?
