Apple Selling Refurbished iPad (4th Gen) and iPad Mini at Discounted Prices

Those of us who’d love to own the latest and greatest in Apple tablet tech but wince at the sight of those painfully high prices may welcome the news that the California company has begun shipping out refurbishments of its fourth generation iPad and iPad Mini – offering up some respectable savings on next to new models.

Prices for the discounted devices have been announced for the United States, and we’re hoping the UK Apple stores follow suit. For an example of the savings, a 32GB iPad Mini, formerly found for around $430 is now $390 – meaning a welcome reduction of $40. Its full sized sibling, the current iPad (4) with 9.7 inch display an entry level 16GB of RAM will leave you with $50 spare in pocket – down to $450 from $499.

This is just a sample of the range Apple is planning to repackage and resell at a more affordable price. These factory refurbs are simply iPads which have been returned when a customer is unhappy with the item or there have been repairable faults and generally all of these tablets have been recased, reboxed and include a brand new battery so they are fresh as a daisy when purchased and brought to life again.
