Are you currently having problems either signing up for an Apple ID, signing in with an existing Apple ID or resetting your Apple ID password? Don’t worry, so are a lot of people. Apple has confirmed that it is currently experiencing server issues that directly affect Apple ID services.
Here at Gadget Helpline we’ve received a number of complaints all relating to the Apple ID, and so we thought we would find out what was going on at Apple HQ. We were told that current server issues were causing the problem and that Apple was working to fix it. No time frame has been given for the fix.
If you’re having problems with your Apple ID then the best thing to do for now is to leave it, unless it’s urgent in which case we would suggest giving Apple a call. This type of issue is typically resolved within a couple of hours, so hopefully we won’t have long to wait before things are back to normal.
