Apple updates iMac range to add VESA mount

Apple has updated its range of iMac computers on its online store to incorporate a built in VESA mount system into the stands of the computer so that users won’t have to buy additional accessories to mount their iMacs onto walls.

VESA mounts are typically used for TVs as they can hold a huge amount of weight, so the VESA system is trusted enough for Apple to place its care into their hands and to build it into their range of iMacs.

Apple is always striving to have the most aesthetically pleasing products it can so the integration of the VESA wall mounts means that Apple is actively encouraging customers to mount their super-slim computers on the wall to add the futuristic look.

As per usual though the pricing on the iMacs is pretty high, but if you are looking to upgrade and want the VESA wall mount then you can pick up the 21.5-inch 2.7 GHz version from £1135 or if you wanted to step up the size and spec then £1735 will get you the big daddy 3.2 GHz 27-inch display, with 8GB of RAM and Nvidia GTX675MX graphics.

To be honest, if you are going to be wall mounting your iMac then why not go for the 27-inch and show it off to everyone in true Apple fashion!

You can pick up the new VESA mount incorporated iMac’s now at the Apple store.
