I personally would love to own a Bang & Olufsen TV, but unfortunately don’t have a spare couple of grand lying around the house.
However, if you do, you might be interested in knowing that an image of an upcoming TV from the Danish company has made its way onto the World Wide Web.
The image of a new TV from the B&O didn’t really come as too much of a surprise for most, considering that earlier this year at CES, the company announced their intentions of launching a new range of products under the banner ‘BeoPlay’. The idea behind this is to be able to offer a selection of products to consumers that are more affordable, and the first is expected to be the TV you see below – the Bang & Olufsen BeoPlayV1.
I have to say, I quite like the design – typical B&O through and through. Unfortunately, when it comes to technical information about the TV, as you can probably imagine, there is not a lot to go on at the moment. However, the little information we do have suggests that the TV will be available in two sizes, 32 and 40-inch. Apparently it will feature 5 HDMI ports, 1 USB and integrated 5.1 surround sound.
So, now we’ve seen a leaked image of the upcoming TV, hopefully it won’t be too long before B&O make an official announcement and give a date as to when it will be available to buy.
And talking about pricing, it’s thought that the 32-inch model will cost around $3170, and the 40 inch will be around $3831.
Still too expensive for me.
