I’m sure dedicated BlackBerry fans are eagerly waiting news of upcoming devices from the RIM who haven’t really had an easy time of late.
The company has faced many problems, including declining sales. RIM definitely needs something that is going to propel the company back into the limelight, and perhaps Toronto based design studio Pixelcarve may have the answer.
They have just released info detailing a new concept for a BlackBerry Blade smartphone, which perhaps would help RIM turn the corner onto the correct path, should the company decide to adopt the idea.
As you can see from the image, the BlackBerry Blade concept features a slight curved design, with the screen sliding upwards to reveal the familiar BlackBerry keyboard. And according to the specification listed on the mock-up, the Blade would feature a 4.5-inch AMOLED display with 720p resolution and also have an impressive 1.5GHz quad-core processor. The Blade concept would also include a 12MP camera which would be capable of shooting 1080p at 60fps, as well as having a front facing 5MP camera.
Along with the above mentioned features, the Blade would also have multiple connection ports including: micro HDMI, micro VGA and the de facto micro USB. If you want to check out the concept in more detail, head on over to the CrackBerry site for full info.
I have to say it does look pretty impressive, but let us know what you think by leaving us a comment below or via our @Gadget_Helpline Twitter page or Official Facebook group.
