To compliment the release of hotly-hyped title Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on November 8th for Xbox 360 and PS3, Stateside and some European gamers can play the game and look the part – by donning the officially licensed sunglasses which have just been unveiled.
Partnering with gaming eyewear co. GUNNAR, Call of Duty publisher Activision reveal what to us are the coolest fan-boy shades since Top Gun aviators became stylish again (they did, didn’t they?).
Official branding and a magnesium frame, inspired by actual military tech, the specs adjust to a variety of different face types, bring style and comfort and as GUNNAR explains “allowing gamers to look sharp, stay focused and play longer while protecting their eyes during extended gaming sessions.”
GUNNAR is no stranger to Call of Duty, having previously developed eyewear for gamers to rep their love of the Black Ops installment.
“Not only will the limited edition eyewear provide a visual advantage to gamers through those long nights of intense action, but they will be able to show their affinity for the new blockbuster and look badass while playing it.”
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 sunglasses will be released through Best Buy stores in the United States and ‘select’ European countries. And since London features heavily in the new CoD gameplay, we’d think these they will be making an appearance on faces of a number of the UK’s dedicated gamers.
