Call of Duty: Black Ops is set to deliver more undead action for its rabid gamers – this time in the popular third-person shooter’s first all-zombie DLC package titled Rezurrection.
Following from the Escalation bundle of a couple months back, which featured a fanboy pleasing level titled Call of the Dead (starring a Hollywood “who’s who” zombie slaying crew), Rezurrection comes packing the same style of action-adventure and reintroducing more flesh-chomping foes in five settings, from some familiar World War II scenerios to the surface of the Moon!
“Four are remastered and upgraded versions of the World at War Zombies maps that started it all – Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese” says publisher Activision
“If you were introduced to Zombies gameplay with Black Ops, these are the historical maps that will fill in some of the backstory for you – and in addition to updated weapons and polish, they each still have their own surprises to offer.”
The fifth map, bizarrely, will take players to a Moon infested with the legions of the undead and Activision says that Call of Duty’s “rules of engagement” will be drastically changed with further details of this most random of battle grounds kept as a surprise.
Included in the Xbox 360 exclusive CoD:BO package will be a Moon skin for your dashboard, and three soundtrack songs.
Expect all this undead goodness to become available for downloading on August 23rd on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
