Following the likes of Nintendo and Sony, Japanese company Capcom is making a back catalogue of classic gaming titles available in a selection of Arcade Cabinet downloads for both PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE users across the next few months.
The collection spans 30 years of Capcom titles such as Black Tiger, Gun Smoke, Commando and the legendary Ghosts ‘n’ Goblins, which are all part of the line-up which will become available every two weeks in a total of five packs costing between £3.99/400 MS Points up to £7.99/800 MS Points.
An additional sixth pack will also arrive as a bumper pack in April collecting all of the games plus two ‘bonus mystery’ titles. With a massive lineage to pluck from Capcom could pull out a number of exciting possibilities from a vast selection of platforms such as Atari, Amiga and vintage arcade machines and including classics such as Street Fighter.
Some of these titles are returning on major consoles for the first time since their heydays in the 1980s and 1990s, and gamers can enjoy recapping each game with access to screenshots and soundtracks as well as sharing the nostalgia with pals in two-player modes playable through the console or online.
