Catch Phrase Host Roy Walker Brings Quiz Party to Life in Our Living Room for Nintendo Wii

With excitement building for the launch of the new Nintendo “living room revolution” the Wii U, it’s easy to forget the family and friends fun we had on the now classic original Wii console. Another classic due a return to our screens is comedian and Catch Phrase host Roy Walker – and we’re delighted to discover that both will pal up for the release of Quiz Party!


The party starts on July 27th for U.K owners of the Wii and following in the footsteps of Wii Sports, Wii Party, Wii Play Motion and Mario Party series, Nintendo are set to launch a new family favourite – Quiz Party – hosted by Irish game show legend Roy Walker famous for catch phrases of his own such as “It’s a good guess, but it’s not right” and “Say what you see!”.

The game boasts over 2000 general knowledge questions in a variety of subjects including history, nature and entertainment and other interactive rounds include Odd One Out – a visually spot the difference round and Blind Test – a music and sound identifying test, as well as a Multiple choice question round. Other modes include Time’s Up and Brainstorm each with their own unique challenges.

Players can get involved in solo or team competitions, with up to four teams going head to head with no limit to the amount of players that can get involved. Players can use there custom Mii characters to represent themselves in the Quiz Party game and contestants are awarded stickers for their accomplishments and the first to grab fifteen of these takes the game!

Quiz Party for Nintendo Wii sounds like a real treat for those summer party nights and the addition of Roy Walker will truly bring the Saturday night TV quiz show experience to life in our living room!
