Well it would appear the new rule at Infinity Ward is not as tight lipped as the old guard, as Activision’s forthcoming Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 title has suffered another leak… this time its the release date.
On Friday games website Kotaku got the scoop of all scoops and released a barrage of information regarding Activision’s latest instalment in its mega -selling CoD franchise, now a few days later IGN has an exclusive leak of the release date.
IGN has receive an anonymous tip off in the form of an Australian poster stating the release date for Modern Warfare 3 s the 08/11/11 or the 8th of November 2011 to clear up any date confusion.
It’s always been suggested that the game will get a Autumn 2011 release date to tie in with the Christmas period, but this poster seems to clarify that we will have the game in the first week of November.
The poster may be from an Australian source but as the game is so huge, normally Activision release the game across multiple regions at the same time.
We can expect a full reveal in a few weeks time as Activision are set to announce the game’s details in full at the E3 gaming conference in June.
In the mean time here is a new teaser trailer:
