Here at Gadget Helpline we’re always on the lookout for a good tech bargain, although they don’t come around as often as we’d like. Today we’ve got an excellent deal for you, in the form of the excellent HTC Sensation XE smartphone bundled with Monster iBeats headphones for £329.

The deal comes courtesy of Asda – an unlikely source for a mobile deal you might think – who actually have quite a few cracking bargains to be had right now. Our favourite is the Sensation XE, which on its own is pretty cheap at £329, but the bundled premium headphones make it an even sweeter deal.

HTC’s Sensation XE was launched last year as an upgrade to the popular Sensation model. It added Beats Audio software to enhance your music, along with the signature red colour of the Beats By Dre brand featuring in the four touch buttons and the earpiece grille.

The XE model also features extra storage at 4GB and a faster dual-core processor, clocked at 1.5GHz. The phone runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), but bargain hunters will soon be able to update to the coveted Ice Cream Sandwich update, which should add speed and new features.

Asda’s deal bundles in a pair of iBeats by Dre in-ear headphones, which usually retail at around £80. Coupled with the Beats Audio software in the phone, your music should benefit from plenty of bass and an overall enhanced sound.

While the price is an obvious bargain, we were certain that there would be one drawback – the phone would be locked to the Asda mobile network. However, the website states that this phone, along with all others available, is unlocked to any network. This means you’ll be able to buy the Sensation XE outright and pop your current SIM card in.

Asda are also selling the Samsung Galaxy Note for £369 – a saving of around £100 – for those who want something a little bigger.
