Fallout 4 Is Confirmed, and there’s a Dog

After years of rumours and speculation, finally we can confirm… Fallout 4 is happening, and it’s being bought to us by Bethesda Softworks. I just sat through the launch trailer and it is amazing.

Bethesda’s servers appear to have dropped the news about an hour earlier than expected but I waited until now to be sure, briefly lifting a Fallout-themed countdown, due to zero out at 10:00 a.m. ET. At that point, we learned the game was coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. But the most important piece of news for everyone there’s a dog. Every game has to have a dog to be great.

Now that the countdown’s complete, we can say it’s definitely happening. Here’s the official trailer folks.

That is the Ink Spots in the background for anyone wondering “It’s All Over but the Crying.”

Our last trip to post-apocalyptic North America, was Obsidian’s glitchy (although it wouldn’t be fallout if it wasn’t) yet beautifully crafted Fallout: New Vegas in 2010. Fallout 3 Bethesda’s last and only offering appeared way back in 2008. We’ve been waiting long enough right.

We expect the wait though right, it’s a good thing. Bethesda fashions worlds similar in details to that of ours, they are incredible in their precision. No annual AssassinOfDutyModernFifa for Bethesda on both the Elder Scrolls and Fallout series.
