So we all love angry birds, it doesn’t matter what device you use there are ways of playing Angry Birds on them all (almost).
With such a simple concept who would of thought that angry birds could of sold sooooo many copies of a game where the whole concept is to fire a bird, and an angry one at that, towards some pigs that ha stole their eggs. Angry Birds is hitting the half a billion download point, that’s almost 500 million copies over all platforms.
This has let to some imitations and some of them have not been great! Blow up for example, it has a similar mechanism to angry birds, and the same idea having to destroy a structure using gravitational force.
Recently however Angry Birds imitations have been upping their game, while Angry Birds storms on with its mammoth amount of downloads, replicas such as Snappy Dragons, and Bunny Shooter are upping their game giving a similar sort of addictive gameplay that Angry birds started.
Bunny Shooter
The aim of Bunny Shooter is to take your bow and arrow, and clear the screen of rabbits, although simple the game gets harder as you progress through the levels. You also get a wider range of arrows as you progress through the game.
The game does not quite reach the graphical heights or overall experience you get with any of the angry birds games but as something to pass the time it is well worth the effort of downloading the game.
Snappy Dragon
Snappy dragons takes a little bit more from Angry Birds that Bunny Shooter, as well as a similar type of gameplay. The story line between Snappy Dragons is ‘The Snappy Dragons had their yellow-babies kidnapped by awful red-wizards that trapped them in cages around the world! They decide to fight for their survival and rescue all their little ones.’
Sounds almost identical to the pigs stealing the Angry Birds eggs.
The gameplay of Snappy Dragons is slightly different rather than the pullback method; you drag forward to aim the ball of fire that the dragon spits. You have four dragons to choose from and all have had their babies kidnapped.
I’ve passed a couple of hours playing each game and suggest you give them a go yourself.
