BlackBerry owners can now get closer than ever to all the Formula One races this season with an official Timing & Track Positioning app available now for smartphones with OS 5.0 and above.
Now it’s not the most inexpensive of software by any means but no F1 fan would want to go without the inside track that this impressive app package has to offer and for £20 you can get the updated 2012 edition “Best Sports App of 2010” (as rewarded by the Sunday Times) which delivers live coverage of all race weekends in the Formula One World Championship, including real-time track positioning, live timing data, live leaderboards, live commentary by text and Twitter (@f1timingapp) and you can even follow your favourite F1 driver’s progress throughout each race.
Essentially F1 fans will become more a part of the race day, putting them right in the pit to get all the updates as they’re received by the teams themselves with data and content streamed directly from Formula One Management’s technical centre and a chance to review the latest stats on all the drivers and tracks, as well as download race packs and review events after they’ve happened to catch every part of the action.
We’d highly recommend grabbing the F1 app today if you’re into your motor racing, its £20 through the BlackBerry App World for an app experience like no other in sports!
