Gadget HELP! – Samsung LE40C530 40 Inch LCD TV and resetting the TV memory

Today we have received a call where one of our dedicated agents provided support on a Samsung LE40C530 40 Inch LCD TV and resetting the TV memory. For this our agent used:

Query: Customer called because they bought a display TV and it had the store demo’s on so needed to reset the device.

Guide: Reset

On any display

  1. Press and hold the Exit button.
  2. Wait for the reset screen to come up.
  3. Scroll to OK and press the Centre button.
  4. The TV will now turn itself off.
  5. Press the power button to turn the TV back on.
  6. Follow steps for first time installation.

This guide can be used on most other Samsung LCD TV’s.
