Google has revived and revamped its popular Santa Tracker app in time for Christmas 2014 and it’s even more fun than last year!
Available now on the Google Play store for free on Android smartphones or tablets (running v4.0.2 and above) the Santa Tracker app can be installed right now and enjoyed until the big day. It comes in festive theme with snow, candy canes and elves, all wrapped up with fun videos to watch and simple but entertaining games for all ages, more of which become unlocked daily as you count down the advent period.
The best bit comes on Christmas Eve when you can follow Father Christmas’ flight plan on a 2D world map which details where he’s making his rounds and how many presents he’s delivered so far, as well as taking a closer look at his location with the Santa Cam view. It’ll also tell you whether he’s in the air or on the ground, how far away from your house he is and most importantly – how long before he arrives!
This year Google has updated the Santa Tracker app to work with some of its latest products including smart watches with festive faces available for Android Wear and also cast the app to Chromecast, which is really great touch as you can get it up on the telly in full screen and share the fun with the family.
Little ones will love it and there’s even plenty for the young at heart and we recommend downloading this app should be on your list this Christmas. And even if you don’t have an Android device you can still follow Santa on the Google website too!
