GTA III comes to Android for 10th Anniversary – Ltd Edition Claude figure included

Ten years of GTA III will be celebrated a little bit later this month, and Grand Theft Auto developer Rockstar Games has announced that the iconic classic will soon be available for Android phones and tablets in a portable handheld format.

GTA III fans using the smartphones and tablets below will be able to download the title from the Android market this Autumn.

Android Phones: Samsung Galaxy S2, DroidX2, HTC Evo2, LG Optimus G2X, Motorola Atrix
Android Tablets: Acer Iconia, Asus Eee Pad, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

Additionally, Rockstar announced that an intricately detailed action figure of GTA III protagonist Claude designed by collectible manufacturer Sideshow will be avaliable for pre-order in limited quantities from the developer’s online store, Rockstar Warehouse.

It’s probably one of the craziest action figures ever seen – the 1:6 scale Claude figure comes with his classic bomber jacket and cargo pants attire, a prison jumpsuit and a rather extensive arsenal of weapons, from the lowly baseball bat all the way to high-caliber assault rifle. All the accessories include detachable magazines and are pretty damn realistic.

If you’re a massive GTA fan, the collectible is available from the US for around 150 US dollars, or as a Rockstar Social member you can enter into an upcoming prize draw by checking out the link here and filling out the entry form by Sunday October 16th for a chance to win.
