Halo 4 DLC Map Pack release dates leaked online!

With the game only being out a few weeks, immediately fans of the Halo franchise are turning their attention to when they might get some more Masterchief and more importantly more multiplayer gameplay, and today thanks to a handy German leak it looks like Halo fans will be getting DLC updates from December all the way up to April 2013.

A leaked screen for the game states from a German Xbox Dashboard, and as reported by reports MP1st states:

“Hol Dir den Halo 4 War Games Map Pass Für noch mehr vorteile.”

“Mit dem halo 4 war games map pass erhaltst du sofort nach dem freischalten Zugriff ouf die drei Map Packs Crimson (10.12.), Majestic (25.2.2) und Castle (1.4.) zum Sonderpreis. Als Bonus wartet ein zusätzlicher Spielinhalt auf dich. Erkunde neue Welten und Wunder: die Map Packs bieten dir klassische Halo Kampfe sowie faszinierende neue Spielsituationen mit den brandneuen Features von Halo Infinity Multiplayer.”

“HOL DIR JETZT DEINEN WAR GAMES PASS”

Which loosely translated via Google Translate means:

“Get the advantages of Halo 4 War Games Map pass for even more.”

“With the halo 4 games map matching was erhaltst you immediately after unlock access ouf the three map packs Crimson (10.12.), Majestic (25.2.2) and Castle (1.4.) For a special price. As an additional bonus game content is waiting for you. Explore new worlds and wonder: the map packs offer you classic Halo combat and intriguing new game situations with the brand new features of Halo Multiplayer Infinity.”

“NOW GET YOUR WAR GAMES MATCH”

So what this says is that there will be three map packs which have been given release dates: Crimson Map Pack is due December 10th, Majestic Map Pack due on February 25th and then Castle Map Pack will appear on April 1st 2013.

The advert is actually advising about the Halo 4 War Games Pass that will allow users to pre-purchase all of the DLC in a pack that will offer a discount price on buying the DLC separately, much like Activision has done with the last 2 Call of Duty games.

Gamers can expect their first new slice of Halo multiplayer maps in just 2 weeks’ time!
