Holy Samsung Batman! Galaxy S7 Edge Injustice Edition Rises!

We’ve come a long way from the bright red bat-phone of the 1960’s Batman TV show starring the legendary Adam West but Samsung is continuing the tradition by launching a stunning new Galaxy S7 Edge with an Injustice: Gods Among Us theme.

To be released this June in select markets including China, Korea, Latin America, Russia and Singapore, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Injustice edition commemorates the third anniversary of the fighting game from Warner Bros. Interactive and NetherRealm Studios which sees popular DC Comics characters battle it out in one on one and team combat.

Despite having no actual superpowers Batman is by far the most badass of heroes (yeah, we said it) and Samsung must agree with us and has chosen to celebrate the brooding alter ego of Bruce Wayne in this special edition S7 Edge smartphone which features the same great premium specifications as the original such as 5.5-inch wrap-around AMOLED touchscreen display, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, powerful octa-core processing and 4GB of RAM.

The best bits of this Galaxy S7 Edge variant are obviously the looks and extras. The handset comes in black (of course) and features a stylish bat symbol in gold on the back. Built-in software includes the Injustice: Gods Among Us app game and a really cool keyboard interface styled after the Dark Knight himself.

Included in the box is a unique Samsung Gear VR headset which is also black, headphones with box and a rubberised Batman themed cover providing the phone with as much protection as Gotham city under the ward of the Caped Crusader. The package comes complete with a gold-plated mini Batarang – which has no actual use with the phone but is just a really awesome piece of memorabilia thrown in which makes us want to own this version of the S7 even more.

The price of the Batman phone is currently kept under a cowl of secrecy but we imagine a Bruce Wayne sized budget might be required just to get close to this ultimate piece fanboy tech!
