HP Pre 3 priced and dated for UK release

The HP Pre 3 smartphone will be released in the UK on the 8th July for just £349.99 SIM-free.

UK retailer Play.com has added the information to the Pre 3’s product page on their site just now, adding the pre-order option for eager Palm fans.

The Pre 3 was announced by HP earlier this year at their WebOS event, along with the smaller HP Veer and the forthcoming 10.1-inch HP Touchpad tablet. It will feature a brand new version of HP and Palm’s WebOS operating system; WebOS 2.2.

Specifications-wise, the Pre 3 boasts a fast 1.4GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 5 Megapixel camera, either 8 or 16GB onboard storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 3.6-inch 800 x 480 touchscreen. Beneath the touchscreen is a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard, just like with the previous Pre 2 and original Pre models.

WebOS 2.2 includes HP’s new “Touch to Share” technology, something we witnessed HP demo earlier this year at the Gadget Show Live. Head to our post here to watch the video and learn more!

You can pre-order your interest for the HP Pre 3 over at Play.com now.
