HTC One X & One S Android ICS Smartphones Now Available on Cheaper Vodafone Contracts

[tab name=’News’]

Vodafone has begun offering the new HTC flagship model smartphone, the quad-core One X and its respectable dual-core sibling, the One S, free of charge on slighter cheaper contracts for a limited time only.

Both devices launched on April 5th here in the U.K and the Vodafone network was among the first to deliver it to the masses. Originally only available on lofty contracts of £41 and upwards Vodafone has now lowered the bar to dish out the HTC One X on tariffs starting at only £36 per month and the HTC One S from £31 per month.

For £36 a month with a 24 month commitment new owners of the HTC One X will benefit from 600 minutes, 300 less than the £41 deal, unlimited texts but with the same 1GB of data and 2GB of BT Openzone internet access. Those interested in something a bit less powerful might opt for the HTC One S, which comes on the same tariff including the same text, call time and data as big bro and is also available on a £31 contract which drops the minutes to 300 and the data to just 500MB.

Both of HTC’s new releases are also still up for grabs on the even lower price £26 fare but with the gadgets coming at a cost – £299 for the One X and £199 for the One S.

A recap on the impressive spec of both models: The HTC One X comes in standard grey finish or whiteand boasts NVIDIA’s 1.5GHz quad-core Tegra 3 CPU, 4.7” qHD touchscreen and 8-megapixel camera with HTC ImageSense and 1080p HD video output. The HTC One S arrives with 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4.3” Super AMOLED touchscreen display and both of these impressive smartphones run Android’s newest update, Ice Cream Sandwich, complimented with HTC Sense.

If you’ve been mulling over these new HTC mobiles for a while, we’d suggest snapping them up fast, as we’re unsure when the “limited time only” deal through Vodafone runs out!
